One of the most popular packages. It gives you the chance to experience the most scenic part of the track. Coach - Leave Nelson and sit back for a scenic trip following the coast around the Tasman Bay to the gateway of the Abel Tasman National Park. Cruise - Here the boat will be waiting for you to board. The boat cruises the shoreline, travelling in close to idyllic beaches fringed by native forests. You will then start making tracks in the sand! Walk - This leisurely walk is unguided and allows you the freedom to soak up the Abel Tasman on your way. You have time to relax on the golden sand beaches and swim in the crystal blue waters. Walk from bay to bay taking in the elevated views along the way.

Get the best of both worlds; relaxing and exploring! Catch the boat from the National Park entrance and cruise the park’s shoreline, giving you the best views the coast has to offer. Hop off at Bark Bay (Medlands) and relax on the golden beaches or explore the tranquil lagoons, before taking a 3.5 hour walk through original Podocarp forests. Allow time to stop and take in the view on the spectacular Falls River swing bridge.

Coach - Sit back and let our friendly experienced drivers take you on a scenic trip along the coastal highway, which follows the Tasman Bay around to the gateway of the Abel Tasman National Park. Cruise - Catch the boat from Kaiteriteri to Onetahuti (Tonga Quarry). The boat cruises the shoreline travelling in close from bay to bay giving you the best views of the park. Cruise via the fascinating seal colony at Tonga Island. Enjoy the beauty of these sleek black mammals and keep an eye out for the little Blue Penguin. Walk - Then take a pleasant walk in the heart of the marine reserve, with time to enjoy the native forests and stunning scenery. At the end of your walk you’ll come out into Bark Bay. Bark Bay has everything to offer, amazing rock formations, a tidal lagoon, sheltered beaches and swimming. A perfect place to relax before catching the launch back to reality.

An ideal trip for those who want to see the park, but aren’t keen on walking or an early start! Jump on board the 10.30am service to Kaiteri where you will cruise up to Awaroa, taking in the beautiful coastline sights, including the Seal Colony on Tonga Island, before returning to Kaiteri.

The best way to see the whole park in one day, the relaxing way! The Vista launch cruises the shore, travelling in close to the golden sand beaches. Take in the views of the native tropical looking coastline and inhabitant wildlife, including the Seal Colony on Tonga Island. Join us for a full day adventure sailing tour of the stunning Abel Tasman National Park coastline. See all the highlights on this tour including Split Apple Rock, fur seals, golden beaches, tidal lagoons, pristine clear waters, and lush native forest. You can just chill out and relax, get involved in the sailing, or learn as you go. Experience several beach stops throughout the day with the opportunity to go swimming, sunbathing and beach walking.

Get up close and personal with the National Park.
| After a comfortable and scenic coach ride your guide will introduce you to safe paddling techniques and settle you into your kayak to paddle north past fascinating coves and natural features to the famous 'Split Apple Rock'. At 1pm it's time to board the Vista Cruise to the golden sands of Tonga Quarry via the Tonga Island Seal Colony.
From here it's time to put on your walking shoes and enjoy an unguided stroll to beautiful Bark Bay before catching the boat back to reality. Please note, the winter version of this package differs by $3 and the kayaking portion takes place further out in the National Park.

Split Apple Classic
See the park from the water with this iconic kayak package.

Board the coach and make your way through the unique countryside to Kaiteriteri. Once there, with your guide, you will begin your afternoons kayaking, paddling out into the forest-fringed Astrolabe area. This area offers golden sandy beaches to stop at. You will also get to see the one-of-a-kind Split Apple Rock, a scene of myriad picturesque photo's. From here simply paddle back to Kaiteriteri where your coach awaits. Easy as that.

Enjoy a scenic coach ride from Nelson to Motueka (or start there) before flying over the incredible sandy turquise views of the park and landing right in the middle at Awaroa. From here you have time to enjoy lunch and/or go for a walk to Tonga Quarry (not from the 10.30am departure sorry) before jumping on a boat and cruising back to your coach.
